Summary:

The year is 1929. New York is ruled by the Bright Young Things: Flappers and socialites seeking thrills and chasing dreams in the anything-goes era of the Roaring Twenties.
Letty Larkspur and Cordelia Grey escaped their small Midwestern town for New York's glittering metropolis. All Letty wants is to see her name in lights, but she quickly discovers Manhattan is filled with pretty girls who will do anything to be a star....
Cordelia is searching for the father she's never known, a man as infamous for his wild parties as he is for his shadowy schemes. Overnight, she enters a world more thrilling and glamorous than she ever could have imagined — and more dangerous. It's a life anyone would kill for...and someone will.
The only person Cordelia can trust is Astrid Donal, a flapper who seems to have it all: money, looks, and the love of Cordelia's brother, Charlie. But Astrid's perfect veneer hides a score of family secrets.
Across the vast lawns of Long Island, in the illicit speakeasies of Manhattan, and on the blindingly lit stages of Broadway, the three girls' fortunes will rise and fall — together and apart. From the New York Times bestselling author of THE LUXE comes an epic new series set in the dizzying last summer of the Jazz Age.

My Review:
I loved The Luxe Series from this author! And this series might top that one!
I really love books set in this time period. I don't know, maybe in my past life I was born during that time and that's why I'm so fascinated? It's just all the flappers and the socialettes and all the big money families that just get me so interested! And there's so much drama too.
The new characters are really exciting! I felt so sad for John though, when Cordelia just left him! And they were only married for half a day! And then Cordelia totally left Letty. Okay, fine. They had a fight, but still! After Cordelia got everything all settled with her family, she should've went and gone to find Letty!

So, that part near the end, where Astrid caught Charlie with Gracie. omg. That was just gross and disgusting and I cannot believe she just forgave him like that and ugh. No.

I hope in the next book that maybe someone from thefir past comes back to find them....? Maybe John... And I really want to find out what's going on with Thom. I actually really hoped that he would get shot.

Overall, can't wait to get my hands on the next book! This was really great! 4.5 Stars!
