October Book Haul

Hey guys! I thought that I'd be a bit more personal with you guys, so I'm showing you all the books I got in October. I only got 13 books. I really regret not getting more though!

And now, the books I got:

Okay, so the books you see above are the ones that I have wanted for a long while.

  • Origin by Jessica Khoury  - I saw this, I think, on Netgalley but I never requested it, but now I have to book, so it doesn't really matter now! The summary sounded really interesting so I wanted to read it.

  • Of Poseidon by Anna Banks - I found out about this book probably at least a year ago and I've wanted to read it since then and now I finally have it! They never had it at my library even though I got this from a free book event they had there!

  • Glitch by Heather Anastasiu - I discovered this one on Goodreads. It was on one of their best books lists and I read the blurb and was instantly hooked!

  • The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski - This one, is a very sad story. At least to me. I requested this on Netgalley and it was approved, but I didn't find out until after it was archived. So when I saw this, I was a very very happy me.

These books, however, I just thought the covers were gorgeous! The summary might have not been as good, but I didn't really care. Some of you might know I do the unspeakable. (Judge a book by its cover!)

And in this category, I know these authors and have read or have heard about them.

  • Tilt by Ellen Hopkins - I actually met this author at one of her joint book signings. I didn't know who she was at that time so I didn't really pay attention to her and because the book she was reading at that time had contained some things about drugs and abuse, but I saw this and I recognized the author so I just grabbed it!

  • UnWholly by Neal Shusterman - The second in the Unwind Trilogy! I have actually been waiting for this to be returned at my library and I saw this and had to take it! I really liked Unwind and I had no idea it was part of a series!

  • Switched by Amanda Hocking - I actually have already a book by Amanda Hocking. Wake. (My Review) It wasn't all that good, but I heard this series was much better so I thought I might give it a try.

And these books, well. I just got them to get them. These were just some books that seemed interesting enough, so yeah!

Anyway, thanks for reading all this if you did! This was really fun. Haha. I'll try to have more of these each month when I accumulate a bunch of more books. I only got all these books because my library was giving them away! For free! I have never gotten as much books in one book haul ever, so most of my book hauls will be books I've gotten over a few weeks or so. And I'd like to thank all of my followers so look out for a giveaway sometime next week! (;
