Summary:

The Lazarus Serum can bring you back from the dead. Only thing is, it turns you into a Pale. Jed can't imagine anything worse, but then the choice is taken out of his hands...

My Review:

This novella was ok. Not great, but ok. It wasn't bad at all, it just didn't really give me the...feeling that I get when I read great books. The one where you never want to put it down. 

The plot of this novella is about how the main character Jeb, was a bully. He bullied Pales. Pales are people who aren't dead, but aren't alive. Pales were dead but they got injected with the Lezarus Serum which brought them back to life but with some consequences. Everybody hates Pales.  But when karma struck, Jeb got hit by a car and his girlfriend, Sandra, who knew he did not want to be a Pale, gave the paramedics permission to turn him into a Pale. And then when he goes back to school as a Pale, she ignores him and breaks up with him even though she was the one who made him like this.

To be honest, I don't think Jeb deserved this. I think that Kyle, Jeb's best friend, should have been hit by that car. Kyle was the cruel one. He was the one who was going to kill that Pale. 

Overall, if you're bored or if you have some free time that you want to fill up, you should read this novella! It's super quick. Just 72 pages! I read it in under an hour! But this novella wasn't my taste. It sounded better in the summary and I thought it was a full length book. 3.5 Stars!
